DK-Heat recovery systems for CO2 refrigeration plants
We were involved in the renaissance of carbon dioxide (R744) as a natural refrigerant at the beginning of the new millennium from the very beginning. After all, it was immediately clear: CO2 refrigerant is perfectly suited for heat recovery due to its high temperatures.
The demand for solutions for waste heat recovery from subcritical and transcritical CO2 refrigeration systems came from the supermarket sector. In February 2008 we therefore presented our heat recovery system with TÜV approval for a pressure of 130 bar at 150°C at the EuroShop supermarket trade fair in Düsseldorf. The interest was great and the first inquiry from a German supermarket reached us the following month.
Today, more than ten years later, we offer different systems for using waste heat to heat drinking water, heating water or to combine both in only one tank.
